About Us – Maitland Saints AFC

Founded in 2007 as a junior club, Maitland Saints AFC has grown to become a dynamic part of the Hunter Coast AFL community. Originally established to foster young talent in Australian Rules Football, the club expanded in 2012 to include senior teams, marking the start of a period of significant growth. Over the past 13 years, we’ve evolved into a thriving, inclusive club with teams for junior boys and girls, as well as senior men’s and women’s divisions.

At the heart of the Maitland Saints is a dedicated board that ensures our club is guided by strong policies and procedures, fostering an environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. We pride ourselves on creating a positive experience for members of all backgrounds and abilities, offering a place where players can develop their skills, make lasting friendships, and enjoy the spirit of the game.

Our club hosts a full calendar of events throughout the season, with a focus on inclusivity, healthy competition, and, above all, fun. We aim to keep our players active, engaged, and inspired, while providing fans and families with a fantastic match-day experience.
